As a leader in luxury hospitality, the venue prides itself on offering top-tier service and memorable dining experiences that meet the expectations of an elite clientele. The establishment emphasizes innovation, quality, and meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of event management and catering.
The Executive Chef role is a pivotal leadership position responsible for managing the entire culinary team and overseeing banquet and event food service operations. This includes menu development tailored to upscale events, ensuring that every dish meets the highest standards of quality, presentation, and taste. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining the venue’s reputation for excellence by coordinating closely with the Catering, Events, and Sales teams to deliver seamless and extraordinary guest experiences. Financial management is also a critical aspect of this role; the Executive Chef will handle food cost control, budgeting, labor management, and profitability to sustain the venue’s operational success.
An ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of culinary leadership in luxury hospitality, with at least 5 years serving as an Executive Chef in environments that demand large-scale banquet and catering services exceeding $10 million in annual volume. Familiarity with union labor practices in New York City is advantageous, reflecting the venue’s commitment to compliance and fair labor standards. Creativity and hands-on leadership skills are essential, as the role requires overseeing menu innovation, culinary execution, and staff development to drive team performance and uphold exceptional service levels.
Compensation for this role ranges generously from $175,000 to $190,000 annually, depending on experience, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off and bonus opportunities. The position offers a challenging yet rewarding environment for culinary professionals passionate about luxury event dining and dedicated to leading a dynamic, high-performing team. This is a unique opportunity to shape culinary experiences at one of New York City’s most prestigious venues and to contribute significantly to its continued success and outstanding reputation in the luxury hospitality sector.
