Job Duties

  • Manage all food and beverage and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
  • Assure all food is of the highest standard, product is fresh, cooked to perfection and well presented
  • Provide an excellent level of internal and external customer service
  • Lead food and beverage team with emphasis on motivation and teamwork
  • Responsible for staff supervision, training, coaching, counseling, performance evaluation and recommendation of employment action as necessary
  • Oversee food preparation for banquets, including menu planning, portion control and plate presentation
  • Order supplies for kitchen, banquet, and bar food, paper supplies, liquor, beer, and wine
  • Maintain compliance with current health and safety standards and regulations
  • Assure sanitary preparation of food items, training staff in safe food handling, as required
  • Responsible for kitchen sanitation logs, use logs, and waste logs
