Currently, Bonaventure Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and experienced Executive Chef to join their dining services department on a full-time basis. This essential role involves overseeing culinary operations and leading the kitchen and dining teams with a focus on maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety. The Executive Chef is responsible not only for managing day-to-day kitchen activities but also for planning special events, maintaining budgets, and collaborating with health services to accommodate residents' specific dietary needs, including those related to long-term care. The ideal candidate for this role will have over three years of experience managing dining services in restaurant, banquet, or long-term care environments, as well as a culinary school diploma or a bachelor’s degree in hospitality. Proficiency with computer software, including Microsoft Office and ordering systems, is also required. The Executive Chef will be expected to maintain a clean, organized kitchen and dining room, lead and inspire a team with excellent customer service, and ensure that all food preparation aligns with Bonaventure’s standards and regulatory requirements. This role is vital in contributing to the overall resident experience by delivering nutrition, comfort, and an inviting dining atmosphere. If you have a passion for culinary excellence and an eagerness to make a positive impact in senior living, Bonaventure Senior Living offers a rewarding career opportunity with growth potential and a supportive work environment.
