Job Requirements
- Must have a culinary school diploma or bachelor’s degree in hospitality
- 3+ years of experience managing dining services
- Experience managing budgets
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ordering software
- Over the age of 21
- English language proficiency
- Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
Job Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience managing dining services in restaurants, banquets, or long-term care settings
- Culinary school diploma or bachelor’s degree in hospitality
- Experience managing budgets
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and ordering software
- English language required
- Must be over the age of 21
- Ability to pass criminal background check and drug test
Job Duties
- Oversee kitchen and wait staff while managing budget and inventory
- Recruit and maintain kitchen staff
- Lead and inspire excellent customer service for residents
- Ensure meals are served with appetizing and attractive presentation
- Create and maintain the schedule for the dining services team
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining room
- Plan and direct all food preparation and service in accordance with Bonaventure Senior Living standards
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations for long-term care communities
- Handle event planning for special events
- Collaborate with health services to provide dining support for residents with specific dietary needs
