In the role of Executive Chef at Holiday by Atria - Hunters Pointe, you will play a vital leadership role responsible for overseeing all culinary operations within the community’s dining services. This position involves managing the kitchen and dining venue's day-to-day operations, ensuring not only the excellence of food preparation and presentation but also the delivery of exceptional hospitality aligned with residents’ tastes and preferences. You will have direct responsibility for interviewing, hiring, training, and developing kitchen staff, fostering a positive and motivated team culture. Managing the Culinary Services department budget is a critical aspect, requiring close monitoring of food, supplies, and labor expenses and maintaining meticulous documentation. Inventory control and vendor relationships must be expertly handled to guarantee consistent purchasing standards and quality service. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum five years culinary experience in hospitality
- Food handlers permit as required
- Valid driver’s license
- Compliance with company motor vehicle policies
- Basic computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Ability to resolve customer and employee concerns
- Willingness to perform driving responsibilities utilizing company or personal vehicle
Job Qualifications
- Five or more years culinary experience in the hospitality industry
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to resolve customer and employee issues
- Food handlers permit as required by state law and company standards

Job Duties
- Oversee day-to-day kitchen and dining operations
- Interview, hire, train, and manage kitchen staff
- Maintain monthly and annual budgets for food, supplies, and labor
- Manage inventory of kitchen supplies, small wares, and tableware
- Ensure food preparation and storage comply with company standards and legal requirements
- Meet regularly with residents and families to maintain satisfaction levels
- Collaborate with staff to ensure high levels of customer service
- Coordinate front and back of house teamwork to exceed resident expectations
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and adherence to purchasing standards
- Conduct department meetings and pre-meal stand ups
- Assist with planning and executing special events and banquets
- Act as manager on duty as required
