We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Executive Chef Assistant to join our Palo Alto team. This role is fundamental in supporting the Executive Chef to smoothly manage kitchen operations, leading a team of line cooks and kitchen attendants to maintain a high standard of food quality and presentation. The Executive Chef Assistant role is designed for a culinary expert with at least five years of experience in high-end restaurants, clubs, hotels, or senior living establishments. Responsibilities include supervising kitchen staff, monitoring food and labor costs, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and preparing a variety of dishes using advanced cooking techniques. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills, technical culinary knowledge including garde manger, baking, sauces, and hot and cold food preparation, as well as the ability to train and motivate kitchen team members effectively.

Job Requirements
- minimum of 5 years of culinary experience in reputed establishments
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- current state health and sanitation certification required
- valid driver’s license for applicable roles
- CPR and First Aid certifications current or obtainable
- proficiency in advanced cooking techniques
- experience supervising kitchen teams
- knowledge of food ordering processes and cost control
- ability to communicate effectively and build teams
- familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems preferred
Job Qualifications
