Job Requirements
- Requires at least 4 years of culinary experience
- At least 2 years in a management role preferred
- Requires a culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated food and labor cost management experience
- Prior experience with menu creation and costing

- Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession

- Requires oral, reading, and written communication skills

Job Duties
- Offer a wide variety of culinary solutions to meet customer and client needs and tastes
- Oversee and manage culinary operations to meet production, presentation, and service standards
- Apply culinary techniques to food preparation and manage the final presentation and service of food
- Ensure culinary production connects appropriately to the Executional Framework
- Train and manage culinary and kitchen employees to use best practice food production techniques
- Coach employees by creating a shared understanding about goals and methods
- Reward and recognize employees
- Plan and execute team meetings and daily huddles
- Complete and maintain all staff records including training, shift checklists, and performance data
- Develop and maintain effective client and guest rapport for mutually beneficial relationships
- Interact directly with guests daily
- Aggregate and communicate regional culinary and ingredient trends
- Manage P&L including controlling labor and food costs
- Deliver food and labor targets
- Focus on margin improvement using performance metrics, data, order, and inventory trends
- Ensure efficient execution and delivery of culinary products per daily menu
- Maintain integrity of Aramark's standard food offer
- Manage waste and standard menus, recipes, and ingredients in compliance with Operational Excellence
- Create and cost menus
- Understand supply chain and procurement, ensuring use of authorized suppliers
- Implement Food Framework fully
- Ensure accuracy of food consumption estimates and food purchases
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment
- Comply with Aramark SAFE food and Quality Assurance standards and occupational safety policies
- Comply with all applicable safety, health, wage, and hour policies and regulations
