Job Requirements

bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
minimum 3 years management experience
minimum 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

excellent leadership and communication skills

previous experience in a K-12 environment preferred

Job Duties

be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production
oversee the PrimeroEdge food management system for multiple units
menu development
ensure Sodexo and USDA culinary standards including recipe compliance are food quality are implemented and maintained
oversee catering functions within Waco ISD and Sodexo’s neighboring K-12 accounts
motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline hourly-paid staff
provide stellar customer/client service
ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance
have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems
