The role of Executive Chef 3 at Rollins College is a pivotal position responsible for overseeing the Resident dining and catering services on campus. The Executive Chef will lead culinary innovation and uphold the highest standards of food quality and presentation while managing day-to-day operations. This person will be instrumental in designing menus, purchasing, conducting inventory, analyzing food costs, and forecasting food production to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The position plays a critical role in maintaining compliance with culinary standards set by Sodexo, including recipe adherence and food safety protocols. The Executive Chef will also be responsible for supporting, training, and motivating their culinary teams to embrace new trends and techniques in the culinary arts.

- bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- minimum 3 years management experience
- minimum 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts

Job Duties
- be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting
- ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented
- develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations
- ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance
- have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems
