Job Description

This opportunity is for an Executive Chef 3 position at Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi, managed under the SodexoCampus Dining Showcase Account. This role is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing culinary operations at a vibrant college campus setting, with exciting plans for innovative foodservice solutions on the horizon. The Executive Chef 3 will play a central role in maintaining and elevating Sodexo’s culinary standards by managing menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis, and production forecasting to ensure efficient and high-quality food service delivery. The role requires a deep understanding of culinary trends, food safety standards, and the ability to motivate and develop a team capable of embracing new culinary innovations. This position also utilizes automated systems for food inventory, ordering, and production which streamlines operations and improves food quality and consistency.

Job Duties

  • be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting

  • ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance
  • have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems
