Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years management experience
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in food or culinary services
  • Strong administrative and operational management experience
  • Experience in catering operations with a focus on growing volume and revenue
  • Proven expertise in inventory management and purchasing controls
  • Strong experience with HR functions including hiring, training, compliance, and employee counseling
  • Knowledge of healthcare food service operations preferred
  • Sodexo experience or Executive Chef experience in an upscale restaurant for 2+ years
  • Client-facing skills with experience in patient or guest interaction

Job Duties

  • Lead and manage daily culinary operations, ensuring high quality food production and presentation
  • Directly supervise 6-12 employees, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management
  • Drive catering program growth, focusing on expanding this key revenue stream
  • Manage inventory, purchasing, and cost controls to meet financial targets
  • Oversee scheduling and labor management to optimize productivity
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and HACCP protocols
  • Partner with clinical and operations teams to conduct patient rounding and improve patient satisfaction
  • Maintain compliance with HR policies, including employee relations, corrective actions, and training initiatives
