The Executive Chef role at Sodexo, based at a high-profile Magic account in Foster City, CA, offers a dynamic opportunity for culinary professionals who aspire to lead large-scale food operations with both creativity and business acumen. As the Executive Chef, you will oversee a skilled culinary team of more than 15 employees, managing high-volume cafe operations with precision and passion. The role demands not only culinary excellence but also strategic leadership to drive menu innovation, quality control, and exemplary client satisfaction. You'll be responsible for developing scratch-cooked menus that align with dietary trends and meet contract and cost objectives, ensuring a sustainable, health-conscious food offering. Your leadership will inspire a culinary team to deliver exceptional experiences, combining artistic culinary skills with operational prowess.

This position requires a strong hands-on approach coupled with solid financial management capabilities, ensuring that food production aligns perfectly with business objectives and client expectations. Job Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong culinary background and knowledge of current culinary trends
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Demonstrated coaching and employee development abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Minimum three years management experience
  • Minimum three years work experience in food or culinary services
