Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • three years management experience
  • three years work experience in food or culinary services such as restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts
  • experience overseeing patient tray line
  • experience with food monitoring systems, audits, implementation and standardization of menus
  • ability to conduct food and physical safety training
  • experience conducting audits and developing action plans
  • knowledge of procurement and vendor collaboration
  • proven ability to standardize catering and banquet services
  • ability to implement retail food innovations

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum three years management experience
  • minimum three years functional experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts
  • strong culinary background
  • demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends
  • excellent leadership and communication skills
  • strong management skills
  • experience in high-volume food facility
  • high-end catering and dining experience
  • hands-on menu planning experience
  • effective communication skills with multiple audiences
  • strong understanding of forecasting, food cost management, purchasing, inventory and labor management concepts

Job Duties

  • oversee patient tray line operations
  • conduct food and physical safety training for all hourly associates
  • monitor and implement menu standardization and audits
  • manage procurement and vendor relationships
  • lead and develop culinary team
  • improve and standardize catering and banquet services
  • create menus based on client needs
  • implement innovative retail food ideas
  • conduct gold check audits and maintain audit records
