At its core, Sodexo emphasizes respect, diversity, and inclusion, fostering an environment where employees are valued, heard, and empowered to contribute their best. The company is dedicated to social, economic, and environmental progress within the communities it operates, reflecting its strong corporate responsibility ethos.

The Executive Chef 2 role based in DeKalb, IL, offers an exciting opportunity to lead culinary operations for a high-profile Corporate Services account under Sodexo's prestigious White Label service model. This full-time position is responsible for directing a multioutlet corporate dining program that delivers a refined, brand-aligned dining experience where the client’s brand identity is paramount. In this role, the Executive Chef 2 will oversee all facets of culinary production, menu innovation, kitchen leadership, and operational management. Responsibilities include managing cost control, purchasing strategies, and food safety compliance, demonstrating strong financial and operational acumen. The position demands the ability to lead and develop a strong culinary team proficient in handling fast-paced, high expectation environments common in corporate dining settings. Collaboration with front-of-house leadership and direct engagement with the client are essential to anticipate needs and elevate the overall dining experience.

The ideal candidate will bring advanced culinary expertise with proficiency in scratch cooking and high-volume production, alongside corporate dining experience that allows them to craft elevated, brand-aligned food experiences tailored to a professional workplace. Leadership skills are critical, as the Executive Chef will coach, mentor, and foster team growth within a diverse culinary environment. The role also requires mastery of food safety standards, including HACCP compliance, sanitation protocols, and regulatory adherence, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards are met consistently.

Sodexo offers fair and equitable compensation that is tailored to the candidate's education level, experience, skills, and training, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision care, wellness programs, a 401(k) plan with matching contributions, paid time off, company holidays, career growth opportunities, and tuition reimbursement.

Joining Sodexo means becoming part of an organization that values individuality, promotes diversity and inclusion, and encourages professional development in a supportive and respectful workplace. For culinary professionals eager to make a significant impact on a high-profile corporate dining service, this role offers a unique platform to showcase leadership, creativity, and operational excellence within a globally recognized company.
