The Executive Chef 2 position at Sodexo’s Milwaukee School of Engineering location in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is a pivotal role responsible for managing the campus-wide dining programs. This includes overseeing resident dining services, catering operations, and a small retail food service. Through this role, the Executive Chef will play a critical part in shaping the campus dining experience, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and culinary innovation. As an Executive Chef 2, the successful candidate will manage all aspects of the dining program, including purchasing, menu compliance, inventory control, food cost analysis, and food production forecasting. Job Duties
- be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting
- ensure Sodexo culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented
- have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations
- ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance
- have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems
