The Executive Chef role at Menlo College, located in Atherton, California, is a pivotal position within Sodexo’s campus food service team. This role primarily focuses on delivering exceptional resident dining experiences while also contributing to catering services. The Executive Chef will have a direct impact on the well-being of college students by maintaining high culinary standards, managing kitchen operations, and supporting the introduction of innovative culinary practices. The position requires flexibility to work Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday, ensuring coverage on at least one weekend day to meet the needs of the college community.
This leadership position involves comprehensive responsibilities including purchasing, menu compliance, inventory management, food cost analysis, and production forecasting. Maintaining adherence to Sodexo’s culinary standards—such as recipe compliance and food quality—is essential, as is ensuring all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety protocols are rigorously followed. - 2 years management experience
- 2 years work experience in food or culinary services
- ability to work Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday including at least one weekend day
- strong culinary background

Job Duties
