The Executive Chef 2 position at the University of Nebraska Omaha- Dodge Campus in Omaha, Nebraska, is an exciting and pivotal role within Sodexo’s culinary management team. This role is designed for a culinary professional who is passionate about food innovation, quality, and leadership. The Executive Chef 2 will be responsible for overseeing the growing catering business and retail dining operations on campus. This includes managing purchasing decisions, menu compliance, inventory control, food cost analysis, and production forecasting. Ensuring adherence to Sodexo Culinary standards, including recipe compliance and food quality, is a critical aspect of the job.
The successful candidate will play a leading role in developing and motivating the culinary team to embrace innovative cooking techniques and maintain the highest food safety and sanitation standards. Job Requirements
- associate's degree or equivalent experience
- minimum 2 years of management experience
- minimum 2 years of work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services or mall food courts
