The Executive Chef 2 role within Sodexo is a crucial leadership position tasked with overseeing culinary operations in a corporate services dining setting. Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of management experience
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in food or culinary services
  • Ability to lead and train staff
  • Knowledge of food safety and regulatory compliance
  • Experience in menu development, cost control, and inventory management
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of management experience in culinary or food services
  • Minimum 2 years of functional experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering, institutional services, or mall food courts
  • Strong culinary leadership skills
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire kitchen teams
  • Solid knowledge of food safety and sanitation
  • Experience in menu development and cost control
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Job Duties

  • Lead daily culinary operations across café service, catering, and executive dining in a corporate environment
  • Develop and execute creative, modern menus tailored to a professional clientele
  • Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistent, high-quality culinary execution
  • Manage food cost, inventory, purchasing, and waste control to support financial targets
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety, sanitation standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Partner with the General Manager and client teams to support events, VIP functions, and service enhancements
