Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 2 years management experience
  • minimum 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
  • proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate, develop, and engage a culinary team
  • experience managing food production, menu execution, and kitchen operations in a high-volume setting
  • knowledge of food cost controls, purchasing, inventory, and labor management principles
  • ability to work collaboratively across departments in a team-focused, healthcare environment
  • ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain) and working knowledge of HACCP standards

Job Duties

  • Lead daily culinary operations across the cafeteria kitchen and patient tray line (AYR dining program)
  • manage, coach, and develop a team of approximately 9 culinary associates
  • implement and standardize Sodexo culinary systems ensuring food quality, presentation, and consistency
  • ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and workplace safety standards
  • drive patient and customer satisfaction through high-quality food and service execution
  • collaborate cross-functionally with clinical teams, operations, and client stakeholders to enhance the overall dining experience
