The Executive Chef 2 position at Gonzaga University represents a significant leadership role within Sodexo's Center of Excellence. This executive role involves close interaction with senior client leadership and students across various campus dining operations, including catering, special events, concessions, and athletics. The Executive Chef 2 is responsible for maintaining Sodexo's culinary standards, overseeing food production, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations. - associate's degree or equivalent experience
- minimum 2 years management experience
- minimum 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Job Duties
- be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting
- ensure Sodexo culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented
- have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations
- ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance
- have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems
