Levy is currently seeking an Executive Chef to lead the culinary team at the exclusive 1922 Club. This role offers a competitive salary of $95,000 and is categorized under pay grade 15. The Executive Chef will be a pivotal figure in crafting exceptional culinary experiences, overseeing menu development, team training, and maintaining high operational standards. This position demands a visionary leader with strong commercial acumen, the ability to inspire and develop a culinary team, and a passion for creating memorable food experiences. The Executive Chef will also actively promote Levy’s brand through various platforms, including social media, ensuring that food remains the centerpiece of the guest experience.

The role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities such as coaching staff to deliver their best performance, managing kitchen operations for safety and sanitation, collaborating with purchasing and finance teams for cost-effective menu creation, and maintaining rigorous standards in kitchen procedures. Additionally, the chef will engage with regional and corporate culinary teams to keep the menu innovative and aligned with current food trends, oversee budgeting for the culinary department, and participate in community outreach programs. The ability to manage scheduling, inventory, and equipment maintenance efficiently is also essential.   • 5+ years of leadership experience in a culinary leadership position
  • Ability to taste and evaluate food and beverage products
  • Culinary degree is preferred
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Understanding of financial concepts
  • Passion for hospitality, food, and retail
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in the use of social media is preferred

Job Duties

  • Proactively coaching and motivating team members to deliver their best
  • Identifying opportunities and driving improvements in both the food and financial performance
  • Overseeing all aspects of a safe and sanitary culinary department
  • Working closely with the purchasing and finance teams to develop an offer that delivers financially and delights our guests
  • Building and developing the on-site culinary team
  • Working closely with the regional and Home Office culinary teams to continually evolve the food experience for guests
  • Support efforts to drive revenue by participating in social media activities
