Job Requirements
- Commitment to Touchmark's values including excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion
- Ability to work varied schedules including occasional weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Knowledge of emergency preparedness procedures
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude with residents, families, visitors, and team members
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Degree in culinary arts or related field preferred
- Minimum of five years experience as a food services director, manager, or chef with leadership responsibilities
- Proven success in running a profitable kitchen
- Knowledgeable in computer use including MS Excel and Outlook
- Valid food handler's card
- Willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR certification
Job Duties
- Oversee kitchen operations and manage kitchen staff
- Develop and implement menus that meet residents' dietary needs and preferences
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Manage food costs and maintain profitability of the kitchen
- Train, mentor, and supervise culinary team members
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance resident dining experiences
