Job Description
Wind Creek Hospitality is a renowned hospitality company that operates a variety of entertainment venues, including casinos, hotels, and restaurants across the United States. Known for delivering exceptional guest experiences, Wind Creek Hospitality deeply values genuine engagement, positive energy, and creating an environment where every guest feels a sense of belonging and importance. Their establishments are designed as dynamic spaces where fun, chance, and possibility merge to create memorable moments for all visitors. They prioritize a strong value system emphasizing fairness, personal accountability, and customer focus, all contributing to the growth and wealth creation benefitting their staff and communities alike.
Within the Wind Creek Hospitality portfolio, the Steakhouse is a distinguished fine-dining restaurant dedicated to providing guests with an outstanding culinary experience. As the Executive Chef at the Steakhouse, you will be a pivotal leader responsible for overseeing all facets of the food service operations. This full-time position requires flexibility to work all shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, ensuring seamless delivery of high-quality food and exceptional service. The Executive Chef role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a diverse and skilled team, from chefs and kitchen staff to servers and management, while actively shaping the menu's direction to align with current culinary trends and guest expectations.
The Executive Chef will develop and implement a strategic vision for the entire food service department, ensuring alignment with the casino's overall objectives. Your leadership will nurture a positive and collaborative workplace culture, fostering growth and mentoring opportunities for all team members. Responsibilities include maintaining rigorous quality control standards, managing food and labor costs effectively to maximize profitability, and ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations. A strong focus on guest satisfaction will require continual attention to customer feedback and proactive improvements to service delivery. Additionally, the role demands managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and overseeing timely procurement processes to keep operations running efficiently.
Innovation is key to success in this role, where staying abreast of industry trends and introducing fresh concepts will enhance the restaurant's position within the competitive hospitality market. Regular reporting to senior management on operational metrics, financial performance, and guest feedback will be essential to driving continuous improvement and strategic decision-making. The Executive Chef must possess strong culinary knowledge, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for culinary excellence to uphold and elevate the Steakhouse's distinguished reputation. A Gaming License or the ability to obtain one is mandatory for this position, reflecting the role's integration within a casino environment.
This position emphasizes cultural awareness and inclusivity, with a Native American Indian preference in hiring policy being strictly observed, reflecting Wind Creek Hospitality's commitment to diversity and community respect. If you are a visionary leader with a dedication to culinary artistry and guest service excellence, this Executive Chef opportunity at Wind Creek Hospitality’s Steakhouse provides a dynamic and rewarding career path.
