Job Description
Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a fast-growing, family-owned company operating over 60 senior living communities nationwide. We specialize in providing Independent Senior Living options that prioritize resident happiness, full occupancy, and on-budget operations while fostering a positive culture for our employees. At RLC, serving seniors is more than just a job; it is a true calling guided by our core values of respect, honesty, kindness, compassion, and service excellence. We are dedicated to creating a warm, welcoming environment where both residents and employees feel valued and supported.
We are currently seeking a purpose-driven Executive Chef to lead our Culinary and Dining team within one of our Independent Senior Living communities. This hands-on leadership role requires a passionate culinary professional who will immerse themselves in everything from meal preparation to planning and building meaningful relationships with the residents they serve. As Executive Chef, you will be responsible for delivering fresh, scratch-made meals with exceptional service through our Signature Freedom Dining program. This program is central to the Resort Lifestyle Communities experience, offering a luxury resort-style dining atmosphere with flexible dining options and beautifully presented plates.
Your leadership will ensure residents enjoy an elevated, worry-free dining experience every day, which significantly contributes to their love of calling our community home. The role is full-time with a primary schedule from Sunday to Thursday but also requires flexibility to support additional evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. You will oversee the daily culinary operations, maintain food safety and sanitation standards, manage inventory and vendor relationships, and support the growth and development of your team. Additionally, you will engage with residents through feedback and chef chats to adapt menus and maintain high satisfaction levels.
At RLC, we provide a competitive compensation package that includes a $341 benefit stipend per pay period to apply toward health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and other financial protection plans. We also offer paid time off, 401(k) with employer match, and the opportunity to access your pay anytime. Our supportive leadership and beautiful resort-style community settings aim to create a work environment that feels like family where you can truly make a difference every day.
