Job Description

Silver Lake Country Club, located in Silver Lake, Ohio, is a prestigious private country club offering a refined and welcoming environment for its members. As part of the largest owner and operator of private clubs nationwide, Invited, Silver Lake Country Club provides its guests with first-class amenities, including championship golf courses, state-of-the-art racquet facilities, fitness centers, resort-style pools, and handcrafted cuisine. Since its inception in 1957, Invited has focused on enriching the lives of its members, guests, and its more than 17,000 employees through exceptional service and high-quality offerings. The company prides itself on fostering a supportive and inclusive culture where employees can thrive and contribute meaningfully to the club's success.

The Executive Chef position at Silver Lake Country Club is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations and culinary activities. The Executive Chef ensures the delivery of high-quality, innovative, and cost-effective culinary experiences that meet the exacting standards of Invited. This role demands creativity in menu planning, meticulous supervision of food preparation, and diligent management of ingredient procurement and kitchen equipment. The chef leads a well-trained and motivated culinary team, fostering a collaborative and efficient kitchen environment that upholds safety and sanitation regulations at all times.

A fundamental aspect of this role is financial accountability, where the Executive Chef must manage food and labor costs, maintain profitability, and contribute to the club’s reputation for excellent dining experiences. This position requires proactive engagement with club members through daily interactions, soliciting feedback, and promoting member satisfaction. The Executive Chef also works closely with the Food & Beverage Director and Event Sales Director to coordinate banquet and event planning, ensuring seamless culinary service during private functions and special gatherings. Maintaining compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations is non-negotiable, alongside continuous workplace safety improvements for all back-of-house staff.

This opportunity offers a dynamic work environment within a nationally recognized private club and the chance to be part of a team dedicated to culinary excellence and member satisfaction. While compensation is dependent on experience and qualifications, the Executive Chef role offers a rewarding career path with access to a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement savings, life insurance, and paid time off.
