As a multifaceted hospitality company, CoralTree specializes in operating luxury resorts, boutique hotels, and unique dining venues that elevate the standards of comfort, elegance, and personalized service. With a strong reputation for excellence and a focus on quality, CoralTree continuously seeks to enhance its culinary offerings and expand its portfolio through strategic innovation and dedicated leadership.
This opportunity is for a Culinary Director position responsible for overseeing the entire food service operation across the properties managed by CoralTree. The role is vital in ensuring the highest standards of quality, creativity, and operational efficiency within all culinary departments. As the visionary leader in culinary research and development, the Culinary Director drives product conceptualization, menu engineering, recipe development, and item costing to create diverse and appealing culinary experiences for multiple venues including main dining rooms, buffets, room service, specialty restaurants, banquets, catering, and themed/special events.
The successful candidate will lead the culinary team in developing and implementing product specifications, setting procedural guidelines, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation compliance, and managing food, labor, and operational costs. By collaborating with internal departments and external partners, the Culinary Director identifies sourcing opportunities and develops standards that deliver consistency and excellence across all properties. This individual also administers formal quality assurance programs such as audits, secret shopper evaluations, culinary focus groups, consumer tastings, and operator surveys to maintain and continually improve guest satisfaction.
CoralTree offers a comprehensive benefits package to its valued team members, including group medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, participation in flexible benefits plans for healthcare and dependent care reimbursement, paid time off/sick leave, and a 401(k) plan with company matching. An employee assistance program and unique perks like the Team Member Free Room Night Program further enhance the work experience.
For professionals with a strong 4 or 5-star hospitality background, proven experience as an Executive Chef, and an ability to oversee multiple culinary departments across properties, this role provides an exceptional platform to shape culinary innovation and elevate guest experiences in a dynamic environment. The position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, strength in training and team building, and proven success in launching and sustaining new culinary concepts. This career opportunity is ideal for a passionate culinary leader who thrives in a multi-property setting and is committed to upholding and advancing the prestigious standards of CoralTree Hospitality Group.
