The Executive Chef position at Stonebridge in Seattle, Washington, is a full-time exempt role offering a competitive annual salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000. Reporting directly to the Director of Food & Beverage and the General Manager, this leadership role involves supervising culinary team members while overseeing all aspects of kitchen management. The Executive Chef is charged with the responsibility to maintain impeccable culinary standards across the hotel’s food service outlets and events by managing food preparation, purchasing, staff training, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for culinary excellence and an ability to work collaboratively with various departments. The Executive Chef will be instrumental in menu development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends that promote guest satisfaction and ensure tastings that reflect the hotel’s brand standards. In addition to leading daily kitchen operations, the Executive Chef controls food costs by effective inventory management and waste reduction, ensuring financial goals are met while maintaining superior food quality.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in culinary arts or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef or in similar leadership role
- Expertise in food preparation, presentation, and menu development
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Proven ability to manage food costs, control budgets, and optimize profitability
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage kitchen staff effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and maintaining attention to detail
Job Qualifications
