The Executive Chef role at Victoria's Secret & Co offers a unique opportunity to lead kitchen and catering operations for one or multiple locations. This position is pivotal in providing strategic and operational direction to the culinary team, ensuring outstanding food quality, innovation, and safety standards are maintained. The Executive Chef will be responsible for the financial performance of kitchen operations, including managing budgets, food costs, and labor expenses. This leadership role involves overseeing menu development, including creating and standardizing recipes that align with guest preferences and trending food concepts. The Executive Chef will actively drive catering event management, ensuring seamless execution from menu planning to presentation.

In addition to culinary and financial responsibilities, the Executive Chef will lead and develop a high-performing team of over 15 associates, including exempt, non-exempt, and contingent staff. Key responsibilities include hiring, coaching, performance management, and succession planning to build a strong leadership bench. The role also involves vendor and inventory management, partnering with suppliers to optimize costs and ensure quality standards. Continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and implement new kitchen technologies will be an integral part of this role.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $67,700 to $88,830, depending on experience, skills, and geographic location. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of culinary experience with a track record of success in menu innovation and food service operations, along with 1-3 years of leadership experience in a high-volume environment. ServSafe certification and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. Job Requirements

  • Degree in Culinary Arts, Food Service, or preferred equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of culinary experience with demonstrated success in menu innovation and food service operations
  • 1-3 years of leadership experience managing teams in a high-volume environment
  • ServSafe certification required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (8-hour shifts with breaks)
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Flexibility in schedule based on business needs

Job Duties

  • Provide visible, hands-on leadership in daily kitchen and café operations, particularly during peak business periods
  • Oversee day-to-day execution of café and catering services, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency
  • Establish structured communication cadence, including daily briefings, shift transitions, and operational updates
  • Design, implement, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation protocols, labor laws, and company policies (ServSafe certified)
  • Lead creation and execution of café and catering menus, including seasonal and specialty offerings
  • Standardize recipes and ensure consistency across all locations
