The role of Kitchen Manager at TouchPoint is a critical leadership position primarily responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations within the healthcare settings served by the company. This individual will be charged with directing the preparation of meals, ensuring all food service activities comply with established corporate programs and guidelines. The Kitchen Manager will plan both regular and modified menus as per dietary needs and established health standards, ensuring meals are prepared safely and with the highest quality. Training and development of kitchen staff regarding food preparation, equipment use, food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance are vital components of this role. The manager will implement and maintain cleaning and maintenance schedules for the kitchen equipment, storage facilities, and work areas to uphold sanitation standards. Efficient inventory management of food and non-food supplies is a key responsibility, requiring balancing availability with cost control measures. Compliance with all federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations is mandatory. The position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $75,000 per annum, reflecting the significance and responsibility of the role within the company's operations. In addition to direct kitchen management duties, the manager may also perform other tasks as assigned to support the smooth operation of the department. Job Requirements

  • A.S. or equivalent experience
  • three to five years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience
  • comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
  • experienced with computers
  • to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point), Outlook, E-mail and the Internet
  • ServSafe certified - highly desirable

Job Qualifications

  • A.S. or equivalent experience

Job Duties
