Situated just six blocks from the University of Arkansas campus, our hotel offers a unique balance of vibrant campus energy and a tranquil environment, away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown entertainment district. This strategic location allows us to attract both local visitors and university guests seeking quality accommodations and exceptional service. Our commitment to excellence is evident in every aspect of the hotel's operation, especially within our Food & Beverage department, where we strive to create memorable dining experiences that delight and inspire our guests.
We are seeking an Executive Chef to join our expanding team at Stonebreaker Hotel. This is a full-time onsite position ideal for a seasoned culinary professional passionate about leading a team, innovating menu concepts, and elevating guest satisfaction through outstanding food offerings and service. As the Executive Chef, you will be an integral member of the food service management team, responsible for overseeing all culinary operations including banquet services and restaurant outlets within the hotel. Your leadership will be crucial in hiring, supervising, and scheduling kitchen staff, ensuring efficient operations and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
This role requires a hands-on leader who is not afraid to dive into daily kitchen activities alongside their team, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment. You will have significant influence over menu development and culinary direction, allowing you to express your creativity and passion while aligning with the Stonebreaker Hotel’s vision and commitment to exceptional guest experiences. Working nights and weekends is a necessity, reflecting the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry and our dedication to serving guests at all times.
Candidates should possess a culinary degree or equivalent professional experience, demonstrating proficiency in kitchen management and culinary arts.
