The role of Executive Chef at East Bank Club is a highly strategic and leadership-oriented position responsible for overseeing all culinary operations across multiple dining outlets including restaurants, banquets, retail food services, employee dining, and production kitchens. Reporting to the Food & Beverage leadership, the Executive Chef ensures operational excellence, financial performance, and the continuous evolution of the club’s culinary programs. This role requires a visionary culinary leader who can inspire and develop a high-performing team while establishing standards that represent the club’s commitment to wellness and exceptional hospitality. The Executive Chef will lead menu development with a focus on balancing wellness, flavor, seasonality, and operational efficiency, while fostering innovation and collaboration across departments.
Beyond culinary management, the Executive Chef maintains strict compliance with food safety regulations and ensures each culinary experience meets the highest standards of quality, presentation, and sanitation. They work closely with the Nutrition team and other club departments to align culinary offerings with wellness goals and emerging trends. The role involves budget management, cost control, purchasing oversight, and leveraging technology to improve operations and financial outcomes. Talent recruitment, development, and retention are also critical, as the Executive Chef must mentor future culinary leaders and manage a diverse team with integrity, accountability, and respect. Job Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Equivalent experience considered
- Minimum seven years of progressive culinary leadership experience including at least five years as an Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef
- Experience leading complex multi-outlet culinary operations
- Strong financial acumen and leadership skills
- Current food safety certification required
