Job Description

Cascade Manor is Eugene's premier upscale senior living community, renowned for offering a resort-like environment that combines luxury living with exceptional culinary experiences. Unlike typical nursing homes or retirement facilities, Cascade Manor is committed to providing its residents with the finest food Eugene has to offer, ensuring they enjoy an incredible dining experience without leaving home. The community is designed to foster a warm and friendly atmosphere where residents feel valued and cared for, making it an ideal place for those seeking quality senior living with a strong emphasis on culinary excellence.

The Executive Chef at Cascade Manor plays a pivotal role in upholding the community's commitment to exceptional dining. This leadership position requires an experienced culinary professional with at least five years in Executive Chef or equivalent roles. The successful candidate will oversee all culinary operations, including the management of a fine-dining restaurant, an upscale casual bistro, catering services, and the broader culinary program within the community. This is a unique opportunity for a chef who is passionate about creating memorable food experiences and dedicated to fostering a positive team environment.

Compensation for this position ranges from $75,000 to $85,000 annually, depending on experience. Cascade Manor not only offers competitive wages but also a morale-driven and friendly work environment where employees are encouraged to enjoy their work and grow professionally. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage; a 401(k) plan with a 4% company match; an employer-contributed retirement plan; generous paid time off; life insurance; flexible spending accounts; access to on-site fitness facilities including a pool; and education reimbursement programs. The community supports its staff with programs like PayActiv for early wage access and an Employee Assistance Program, ensuring that team members are well supported both professionally and personally.

The Executive Chef role demands a leader who enjoys making people happy through food and who finds satisfaction in helping others develop their culinary talents. This position is ideal for a culinary professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, embraces innovation, and is eager to contribute to a community dedicated to providing outstanding food service. Required credentials include a valid Food Handlers card, and having a ServSafe Food Safety Manager certificate is considered a plus.

Cascade Manor invites passionate culinary leaders to join their team and contribute to a culture of excellence, compassion, and innovation. This role offers not only a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits but also the chance to be part of a distinctive senior living community that values exceptional culinary experiences as a cornerstone of resident satisfaction. If you are an experienced Executive Chef ready to lead a talented culinary team in an upscale setting, Cascade Manor offers a rewarding career path with ample opportunities for growth and creative expression.
