As a forward-thinking segment within Aramark, LifeWorks focuses on delivering uniquely tailored, sensory dining experiences that nurture and enhance company culture. Each partnership LifeWorks forges is characterized by transparency and collaboration, beginning from spatial design and delivery right through to the marketing of the finished branded culinary product. Their client-centric approach emphasizes innovation, quality, and immersive dining experiences that not only fulfill but exceed client needs. As part of the greater Aramark organization, LifeWorks benefits from a global footprint and extensive resources, empowering it to provide comprehensive solutions across a range of settings and industries.
The Executive Chef role at LifeWorks Restaurant Group is a leadership position requiring a blend of culinary expertise, management acumen, and strategic vision. This role involves overseeing culinary teams comprising chef managers and hourly kitchen staff to ensure all culinary operations meet the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service. The Executive Chef is responsible for developing and executing innovative culinary concepts that align with customer tastes and client requirements. Beyond food preparation, this role includes managing labor and food cost targets, maintaining strict compliance with food safety and quality assurance standards, and ensuring operational excellence across all culinary initiatives. The Executive Chef also serves as a key figure in fostering a collaborative team environment through staff training, coaching, and recognition, thereby driving consistent improvement and engagement among culinary personnel.
In addition to overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations, the Executive Chef actively engages with clients and guests to build and maintain strong business relationships and to stay attuned to emerging culinary trends. This role demands a thorough understanding of supply chain processes, vendor management, and operational frameworks to ensure efficient inventory management and procurement practices. The Executive Chef is also tasked with upholding the integrity of the standard Aramark food offering by maintaining consistency in food quality and safety, while simultaneously contributing to menu development based on market insights and regional ingredient trends.
The position at LifeWorks Restaurant Group offers a challenging and rewarding environment for culinary professionals seeking to advance their careers in a dynamic, client-focused sector. Employment with this division of Aramark encompasses opportunities for personal and professional growth, underpinned by a culture that values innovation, excellence, and the well-being of employees. Candidates can expect to take on a leadership role that not only demands culinary skill but also strategic thinking, effective team management, and a proactive approach to business objectives and customer satisfaction. This is a full-time, salaried position offering competitive compensation reflective of the responsibilities and the impact this role has on the success of culinary operations and client satisfaction within LifeWorks and the broader Aramark family.
