Job Description
Lucky Strike Entertainment is one of the world’s largest and most successful location-based entertainment companies. Established in 1997 with a single bowling center, the company has grown exponentially and now operates 360 upscale and traditional bowling centers, five well-located waterparks, a large amusement park in California, and 10 upscale Boomers Family Entertainment Centers across major markets. With 14,000 associates and nearly $1.4 billion in annual revenue, Lucky Strike has redefined the entertainment industry and positioned itself as a powerhouse brand known for its commitment to hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences consistently. At the core of its business, Lucky Strike Entertainment fosters a culture fueled by passionate, talented individuals striving for excellence and sustainable career growth within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
The role of Executive Chef at Lucky Strike Entertainment is a critical and highly engaging position where culinary leadership meets active kitchen involvement. This is a working chef role, requiring hands-on participation on the line five days a week, including nights, weekends, holidays, and high-volume events. The Executive Chef will take ownership of all culinary operations, ensuring the delivery of food quality, consistency, and excellent back-of-house (BOH) performance throughout every service period and special event hosted by the company. This role demands a seasoned culinary leader capable of developing and mentoring Kitchen Managers and BOH teams through daily coaching, training, and performance feedback to maintain the high standards expected at Lucky Strike.
Besides managing the kitchen team, the Executive Chef is responsible for the financial health of the culinary department, including controlling food costs and labor, maintaining inventory accuracy, and optimizing overall BOH financial performance. Collaborating closely with Operations, the Executive Chef will also contribute to new product rollouts, seasonal promotions, and special event planning to continue driving guest satisfaction and operational excellence. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled culinary professional to lead by example in a thriving entertainment company with a strong emphasis on quality, teamwork, and career development. The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 per year, along with performance-based incentives and a comprehensive total rewards package including healthcare coverage, retirement plans, employee stock purchase programs, and more. Join Lucky Strike Entertainment if you are a committed culinary leader looking to elevate your career in a company recognized for excellence and innovation in the hospitality and entertainment sectors.
