Job Description
Bon Appetit Management Company is a leading restaurant company specializing in contract food service, committed to delivering exceptional food and outstanding service. Unlike typical corporate food service providers, Bon Appetit prides itself on creativity and culinary innovation rather than standardized recipes or centralized commissaries. This approach empowers our chefs and managers to stay at the forefront of culinary trends and bring fresh, cutting-edge food experiences to every cafe they operate. Our company culture prioritizes staff growth, continuous learning, and a passion for food, offering employees the freedom to experiment, take risks, and truly shine in their roles. With rapid expansion and a wide array of accounts, Bon Appetit offers exciting and diverse opportunities for career advancement and professional development.
The Executive Chef role at Bon Appetit is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing all culinary functions within a dining account. The Executive Chef manages and leads a team of associates, ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation standards specific to their account. Responsibilities include managing cost controls and expenditures, planning and creating all menus, purchasing and managing inventory, and rolling out new culinary programs in collaboration with the marketing and culinary teams. This role demands a strong culinary background, excellent management skills, and the ability to thrive in high-volume production and catering environments. Bon Appetit values individuals who bring culinary expertise combined with a desire to grow within a dynamic foodservice company. Additionally, employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision insurance, paid time off, retirement plans, wellness programs, and more, underscoring our commitment to supporting our team both professionally and personally.
