We are currently seeking a passionate, innovative, and results-driven Executive Chef to join our culinary leadership team. This role is essential in shaping the culinary experiences offered throughout the hotel, including banquet and catering events, multiple dining outlets such as restaurants and lounges, breakfast service, and associate dining facilities. As Executive Chef, you will oversee the comprehensive culinary operations at the hotel. This includes maintaining consistency and excellence in food preparation and presentation, managing banquet and restaurant services, and creating seasonal and special event menus that enhance guest satisfaction and drive revenue growth. You will be responsible for all aspects of kitchen management, including food safety compliance, sanitation standards, cost control for food and labor, inventory and vendor relations, as well as team recruitment, development, and performance evaluation.
Success in this role demands exceptional leadership qualities, creativity in menu design, strong organizational and financial skills, and a genuine passion for mentoring talented culinary professionals. The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in hotel culinary operations, preferably with prior experience as an Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef, and familiarity with Marriott standards and systems. You will be instrumental in fostering a positive, collaborative work environment focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement to deliver superior service to guests and maintain the hotel’s culinary reputation.
This position also requires operational excellence in managing scheduling in alignment with business demands, rigorous adherence to health and safety regulations, and effective communication and collaboration with other hotel leadership to align culinary strategies with overall business goals. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is necessary to meet the needs of the hotel’s busy schedule.

Job Requirements
- Minimum of five years of progressive culinary leadership experience preferably in a full-service hotel environment
- previous Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef experience strongly preferred
- culinary degree or formal culinary training preferred
- proven experience managing food cost, labor cost, purchasing, inventory, and departmental budgets
- comprehensive knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and applicable Federal, State, and local health regulations
- exceptional leadership, communication, coaching, and team development skills
- proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management systems
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, reaching, pushing, and pulling throughout the workday
- CPR certification required
- must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
Job Qualifications

- strong organizational, financial, and problem-solving abilities
- proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management systems
- CPR certification required, First Aid certification preferred
Job Duties
- Lead all culinary operations for the hotel, ensuring exceptional quality, consistency, and presentation across all dining outlets and banquet functions
- supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking methods, portion control, plating, and sanitation
