The role of Executive Chef at Makeready’s Hank’s Seafood is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of food and beverage excellence. As the culinary leader, the Executive Chef will align and lead the kitchen team to achieve the collective goal of culinary excellence. Responsibilities include not only the creation and modification of menus that reflect Hank’s Seafood’s unique identity but also developing and mentoring a cohesive, skilled team of hospitalitarians. The Executive Chef maintains full control of back-of-house operations, ensuring food safety, proper preparation techniques, and meticulous attention to detail. Working closely with the Food and Beverage General Manager, this leader ensures that every guest enjoys an impeccable dining experience from kitchen to table.
This role requires a creative and strategic approach to menu development and kitchen management, with a strong emphasis on quality control and cost management. The Executive Chef plans and directs food preparation activities, monitors labor and food costs, recruits and trains culinary staff, and implements stringent food safety programs. The ability to innovate according to emerging food trends while staying true to the restaurant’s concept is highly valued.
