Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
  • Experience in high-volume hospitality or retail entertainment environment
  • Proven team management and development skills
  • Current ServSafe certification
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
  • Bachelor's or culinary degree preferred
  • Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue required
  • Extensive experience in banquet style events
  • Proven experience managing and developing teams
  • Current ServSafe certification required
  • ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred

Job Duties

  • Adhere to the company’s mandated F&B menu and purchasing programs
  • Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, as well as operating cash flow related to food operations
  • Review monthly profit and loss statements and make necessary adjustments
  • Work with the Operations team and Sales staff to plan, supervise, and execute all events, including food and beverage preparation and service
  • Assist cooking when needed during events
  • Estimate food consumption and make appropriate purchases
  • Schedule staff efficiently according to business volume fluctuations
  • Recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff including sous chefs and lead cooks
  • Develop key staff and foster team growth
  • Ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • Supervise food preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage
  • Manage kitchen equipment maintenance
  • Conduct sanitation audits and cleaning schedules to comply with local Department of Health regulations
  • Report critical health or safety issues to the General Manager
