Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
- Experience in high-volume hospitality or retail entertainment environment
- Proven team management and development skills
- Current ServSafe certification
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
Job Qualifications
- 5+ years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
- Bachelor's or culinary degree preferred
- Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue required
- Extensive experience in banquet style events
- Proven experience managing and developing teams
- Current ServSafe certification required
- ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred
Job Duties
- Adhere to the company’s mandated F&B menu and purchasing programs
- Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, as well as operating cash flow related to food operations
- Review monthly profit and loss statements and make necessary adjustments
- Work with the Operations team and Sales staff to plan, supervise, and execute all events, including food and beverage preparation and service
- Assist cooking when needed during events
- Estimate food consumption and make appropriate purchases
- Schedule staff efficiently according to business volume fluctuations
- Recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff including sous chefs and lead cooks
- Develop key staff and foster team growth
- Ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
- Supervise food preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage
- Manage kitchen equipment maintenance
- Conduct sanitation audits and cleaning schedules to comply with local Department of Health regulations
- Report critical health or safety issues to the General Manager
