This Exec Chef role at Lucky Strike Entertainment invites a passionate food service professional to join a vibrant team that is at the heart of its high-energy, interactive venues. The Executive Chef plays a pivotal leadership role, shaping the culinary experience and ensuring that all food operations comply with the company’s standards and elevate guest satisfaction. With an emphasis on adhering to carefully curated food and beverage menus as well as purchasing programs, the Executive Chef oversees all facets of kitchen management and food preparation in a fast-paced, high-volume retail entertainment environment.
The position is integral to maintaining operational excellence, budget discipline, and food quality while also spearheading event food services from planning to execution. Acting as a mentor and leader, the Executive Chef is entrusted with recruiting, training, and developing kitchen staff to foster a motivated and efficient team. In addition, this role includes conducting sanitation audits, managing kitchen maintenance, and ensuring compliance with health regulations, all critical to sustaining a safe and pristine kitchen environment.
Prospective candidates should be seasoned professionals with a comprehensive understanding of profit and loss management, staff scheduling, and inventory procurement. A strong background in banquet-style events and the ability to collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to organize special events is highly valued. This role reports directly to the General Manager and takes a decisive role in company-wide initiatives related to food service excellence.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
- Experience in high-volume hospitality or retail entertainment environment
- Proven team management and development skills
- Current ServSafe certification
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
Job Qualifications
- 5+ years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
- Bachelor's or culinary degree preferred
- Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue required
- Extensive experience in banquet style events
- Proven experience managing and developing teams
- Current ServSafe certification required
- ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred
Job Duties
- Adhere to the company’s mandated F&B menu and purchasing programs
- Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, as well as operating cash flow related to food operations
- Review monthly profit and loss statements and make necessary adjustments
- Work with the Operations team and Sales staff to plan, supervise, and execute all events, including food and beverage preparation and service
- Assist cooking when needed during events
- Estimate food consumption and make appropriate purchases
- Schedule staff efficiently according to business volume fluctuations
- Recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff including sous chefs and lead cooks
- Develop key staff and foster team growth
- Ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
- Supervise food preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage
- Manage kitchen equipment maintenance
- Conduct sanitation audits and cleaning schedules to comply with local Department of Health regulations
- Report critical health or safety issues to the General Manager
