The Executive Chef role within the Constellation Culinary Group in Philadelphia, PA, represents a unique opportunity for an experienced and motivated culinary professional to lead food production and quality across multiple food and beverage units in a dynamic cultural venue. This full-time, onsite position demands a combination of culinary creativity, leadership, and operational management skills. The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, from food purchasing and preparation to service and sanitation standards. They will ensure that every meal meets the highest standards of quality and consistency, upholding the brand’s reputation for excellence.
In this role, the Executive Chef will develop standardized recipes and employ production tools to control food costs and maintain operational efficiency. This position also involves close collaboration with events teams to plan and execute special culinary events that reflect the venue's cultural significance and the company’s commitment to exceptional guest experiences. Candidates with proficiency in Microsoft software and experience with budget management will be best suited to manage the financial aspects of the kitchen, ensuring that cost objectives are met without compromising on quality.
This role requires a seasoned culinary leader with at least six years of progressive experience in the culinary field. An Associate’s degree in culinary arts is preferred but not mandatory, pointing to the company’s emphasis on practical experience and skill. Compensation for this position is competitive and will be determined based on the candidate's experience.

Job Duties
- Supervising the quality standards and practices of the food production process, including purchasing, food specifications, meal preparation, service, and sanitation
- Developing standardized recipes and utilizing other production tools to ensure food quality and cost objectives are met
- Participating in the planning and execution of special events
- Managing kitchen staff and coordinating culinary operations
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Monitoring inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborating with management to develop menus and promotional dining events
