These ventures showcase the company's capability to excel in fast-paced, large-scale event settings, where quality and guest satisfaction are paramount.
The available role is for an Executive Chef who will oversee the culinary program for a stadium partner, the Slammers. This position is critical in driving the success of all culinary operations associated with premium hospitality and concessions during sporting events, catering engagements, concerts, and other special events. As the person in charge, the Executive Chef will provide hands-on leadership and direction to ensure that every kitchen element operates smoothly and efficiently. They will be responsible for the creation and delivery of culinary creations that not only meet but exceed guest expectations while optimizing revenue and controlling expenses effectively. The role requires a keen understanding of operational efficiencies, food safety standards, team leadership, inventory management, and financial reporting.
Responsibilities include planning and executing game-day and event menus tailored to diverse and demanding environments, maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy workspace by adhering to rigorous sanitation standards and legal regulations, and collaborating closely with the General Manager to understand custom event menus and specifics. The Executive Chef will handle all culinary aspects of game-day food service areas, ensuring the highest level of food quality and presentation is always maintained. The candidate must also oversee purchasing and inventory, meet venue financial objectives by forecasting budgetary needs, and prepare financial reports weekly to track labor costs against sales. Creativity in menu development is essential, as the Executive Chef is expected to develop innovative menu items consistent with the company’s standard of excellence. Additionally, the role involves training, holding accountable, and scheduling culinary staff while coordinating with the HR team to ensure front-of-house and back-of-house schedules align perfectly with event demands. Leading and coaching the culinary team to foster professional growth and a strong sense of teamwork will be key to success in this role.
