The company places strong emphasis on employee development, work-life balance, and providing comprehensive benefits packages to its team members. Kinseth offers opportunities for career growth and advancement within a supportive and dynamic work environment, making it an attractive employer in the hospitality industry.

The role of Kitchen Supervisor at Kinseth Hotel Corporation is integral to the smooth functioning of the kitchen and food preparation areas within their hotels and restaurants. This position involves supervising and coordinating the activities of food preparation, kitchen, pantry, and storeroom personnel to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery. The Kitchen Supervisor is responsible for hiring, scheduling, orienting, and training employees, as well as overseeing food production, sanitation, safety, guest satisfaction, and adherence to company policies and procedures. This requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team of up to 25 kitchen staff.

In addition to supervisory responsibilities, the Kitchen Supervisor is involved in hands-on cooking and food preparation during busy periods and for special events such as banquets. They participate in menu planning, portion control, inventory management, and purchasing to control costs and minimize waste. The role also includes assisting with budget management and pricing decisions, collaborating with sales staff and clients to resolve menu issues, and ensuring compliance with all company standards.

This is a full-time position requiring a balance of managerial and culinary skills, alongside the ability to handle crisis situations calmly and effectively. The work environment includes exposure to various kitchen conditions such as extreme temperatures, moving mechanical parts, and occasional outdoor elements, necessitating strict adherence to safety protocols. Kinseth offers a competitive salary and a benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, and other insurances, paid training, paid time off, a 401k plan, DailyPay access, and employee discounts across its hotels and restaurants. This role offers the opportunity to advance within a reputable hospitality company while contributing to a high-standard culinary team.
