Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • 6 years experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
  • or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
  • 4 years experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
  • ability to lead and supervise kitchen staff
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • availability to work full time
  • authorized to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Lead kitchen management team
  • provide direction for all day-to-day operations
  • supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and food preparation workers
  • develop and implement guidelines for purchasing and receiving areas
  • establish performance, budget, and team goals
  • ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards
  • manage employee training and development
  • provide and support exceptional customer service
  • handle guest complaints and feedback
  • administer performance appraisal and disciplinary processes
  • communicate effectively with executive teams and staff
