Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree in culinary arts preferred
  • Proven experience in fine dining culinary environments
  • Ability to manage kitchen operations and staff effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in budget management
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

Job Qualifications

  • At least five years of progressive culinary experience in a fine dining setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software programs
  • Experience with budget statements
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Supervising the quality standards and practices of the food production process including purchasing food specifications meal preparation service and sanitation
  • Developing standardized recipes and utilizing production tools to ensure food quality and cost objectives are met
  • Participating in the planning and execution of special events
  • Managing back-of-house operations to maintain efficiency and excellence
  • Overseeing kitchen staff and fostering a collaborative work environment
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Monitoring inventory and controlling food costs
