The Executive Chef role at Lucky Strike Entertainment is a key leadership position responsible for managing and elevating all food and beverage operations within the entertainment centers. This role focuses on adhering to the company’s mandated food and beverage menus and purchasing programs, managing budgets, supervising food preparation, and ensuring top quality and safety standards are met consistently. The Executive Chef will work closely with operations and sales teams to plan and execute events, while also leading a team of culinary professionals including sous chefs, lead cooks, and other kitchen staff. This position offers a competitive salary range between $75,000 and $80,000 per year, along with performance-based incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.

The successful candidate will be a strong leader with a proven background in high-volume retail, hospitality, or entertainment food service environments. They will have a developed sense of customer service, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of profit and loss management. The Executive Chef will be hands-on when necessary, assisting with cooking during events or busy periods, while maintaining an organized and efficient kitchen. Responsibilities also include recruiting, training, and retaining a dedicated kitchen staff, and ensuring all Department of Health regulations and sanitation standards are consistently upheld. Experience with banquet style events, catering, and special event food presentations is a plus but not mandatory. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
  • current ServSafe certification
  • ability to manage budget and costs effectively

  • ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • willingness to assist with cooking and event execution
  • knowledge of local health and sanitation regulations
  • ability to recruit, train, and retain kitchen staff

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
  • bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred
  • experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue required
  • extensive experience with banquet style events
  • experience managing and developing teams required
  • current ServSafe certification required
  • ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred

Job Duties

  • adhere to the company’s mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
  • maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
  • work with operations and sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute all events including food preparation, service, and cleanup
  • estimate food consumption and make purchases as appropriate
  • schedule staff efficiently to accommodate business volume fluctuations
  • recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff, including developing sous chefs and lead cooks
  • ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of all food
  • manage kitchen equipment maintenance, conduct sanitation audits, and implement cleaning schedules to comply with local Department of Health regulations
  • report critical issues to the General Manager
