Job Requirements
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum 5 years of progressive culinary leadership experience
- At least 2 years as an Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef in hotel or full-service restaurant
- Strong background in banquet and catering operations preferred
- ServSafe certification preferred or required upon hire
- Proven leadership and team development skills
- Solid financial management skills including budgeting and cost control
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Job Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive culinary leadership experience with at least 2 years as an Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef in a hotel or full-service restaurant
- Strong background in banquet and catering operations preferred
- Proven ability to lead motivate and develop a high-performing team
- Solid financial acumen including budgeting forecasting and cost control
- Knowledge of food safety standards ServSafe certification preferred or required upon hire
- Excellent organizational communication and problem-solving skills
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
Job Duties
- Lead and manage all kitchen operations including restaurant banquet and catering services
- Design and execute creative high-quality menus aligned with Marriott brand standards and local market trends
- Ensure consistent food quality presentation and portion control across all outlets
- Recruit train develop and mentor culinary team members
- Manage food and labor costs to meet or exceed budget targets
- Maintain compliance with food safety sanitation and health regulations
- Collaborate with Sales and Event teams to execute successful meetings events and group functions
- Oversee inventory management vendor relationships and purchasing
- Drive continuous improvement through innovation guest feedback and operational efficiencies
