Job Description

Our establishment is a newly launching fine dining restaurant situated in San Francisco, CA, specializing in a distinctive blend of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine. We are devoted to offering an elevated dining experience that honors traditional flavors while embracing contemporary culinary techniques. Positioned in one of the most vibrant culinary cities in the United States, our restaurant aims to set a new standard for hospitality and food excellence in this unique cuisine segment. We embrace innovation and cultural authenticity within a business framework designed to deliver impeccable service and a memorable atmosphere for all guests.

We are currently seeking an Executive Chef who will play a pivotal role in shaping the culinary direction and operational success of this exciting new concept. This is a full-time role with an attractive base salary of $120,000, along with additional performance-based bonuses and comprehensive benefits, including health insurance and relocation assistance. The selected candidate will not only lead the kitchen team but will be instrumental in creating and maintaining the operational infrastructure essential to managing high-volume service with consistent quality. This role demands a chef with a refined culinary skill set paired with operational management expertise, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment without compromising on excellence.

The Executive Chef will be tasked with building kitchen systems and Standard Operating Procedures from scratch, fostering a strong, positive kitchen culture dedicated to accountability and professional growth. An ideal candidate will have significant experience within structured and well-regarded restaurant groups known for their culinary and service standards, broad experience managing food costs, labor, purchasing, and inventory, and a demonstrated ability to maintain kitchen discipline and operational frameworks. While direct experience in Mediterranean or Middle Eastern cuisine is highly valued, we also welcome passionate chefs with a genuine interest and understanding of these culinary traditions to apply.

This role is perfect for a leader who balances hands-on kitchen expertise with strategic oversight, is skilled in scaling quality and consistency, and has proven abilities in team development and kitchen management from the ground up. Candidates in this position will enjoy comprehensive support, including relocation reimbursement up to $5,000, reflecting our commitment to attracting top talent and ensuring a smooth transition. Join us as an Executive Chef to lead a cutting-edge culinary venture that promises growth, creativity, and the rewarding challenge of establishing a beloved dining destination in San Francisco's dynamic food scene.
