We are currently seeking an experienced Executive Chef with a strong background in Mediterranean cuisine to lead our kitchen team. The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations, from developing and maintaining seasonal menus and specials to ensuring consistent food quality and presentation standards. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in managing food and labor costs, inventory control, and overall kitchen financials while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in compliance with health regulations. This role offers the chance to work closely with restaurant ownership and front-of-house management to coordinate service and events, including occasional off-site catering and private gatherings, adding variety and excitement to the responsibilities.

Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in kitchen management
- 2+ years as an executive chef head chef or similar leadership role
- strong leadership and communication skills
- background in Mediterranean cuisine
- experience with catering and event menus a plus

Job Duties
- lead day-to-day kitchen operations in a busy full-service Mediterranean restaurant
- develop and maintain seasonal Mediterranean menus and weekly specials
- ensure consistent food quality portion control and plating standards
- train coach and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high performance
- oversee inventory management food costing and labor control
- maintain a clean safe and organized kitchen in compliance with health regulations
- collaborate with ownership and FOH management on service and event execution
- participate in occasional off-site catering and private events
