CCL Hospitality Group is a dynamic and people-centric company deeply committed to delivering exceptional hospitality with a focus on caring for both its guests and team members. As a leading hospitality group, CCL operates through four distinct companies: Morrison Living, Unidine, Coreworks, and The Hub. Together, these companies shape the future leaders of the hospitality industry by fostering a culture of unparalleled service dedicated to enhancing community living across the United States. Recognized as a member of Compass Group USA, one of the largest and most respected food service and support services companies globally, CCL Hospitality Group brings a wealth of experience and expertise to its operations.

The Executive Chef role at CCL Hospitality Group is an impactful leadership position offering a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $75,000 annually. This role is integral to the culinary success of daily kitchen operations and involves a blend of hands-on culinary creativity, team development, and business acumen. The ideal candidate will be an inspirational and organized leader who is not afraid to actively engage in the kitchen to ensure the highest levels of food quality and presentation. The Executive Chef will lead the recruitment, training, development, and empowerment of team members, fostering a culture of service excellence that reflects the company’s core values.

The Executive Chef will oversee the planning and production of meals while ensuring compliance with strict food safety and sanitation standards. By utilizing their culinary talents, they will craft menus with distinctive specials focusing on seasonal and fresh ingredients that cater to customer preferences, including local foods and flavors. The leadership responsibility extends to managing kitchen staff performance, productivity, safety, and morale to achieve optimal operational efficiency and employee satisfaction.

This role also holds key business and financial responsibilities, including managing food and labor costs, controlling departmental expenses, and maintaining purchasing and inventory standards. The Executive Chef is expected to participate in developing and executing business strategies aligned with the client’s broader mission and goals. Critical to success is the ability to analyze financial data, adjust operations accordingly, and consistently meet budgetary objectives while identifying opportunities for revenue growth and cost efficiencies.

Providing exceptional customer service is foundational to the role. The Executive Chef will cultivate a service-driven atmosphere, ensuring residents and clients receive a best-in-class hospitality experience. This includes addressing feedback, coaching staff on service excellence, and maintaining professional relationships within the community. Team building and management are essential functions, with the Executive Chef leading team meetings, setting performance goals, fostering open communication, and providing ongoing training and development opportunities to maximize employee engagement and performance.

Preferred qualifications for the role include an Associate’s degree or equivalent experience, a minimum of five years of progressive culinary and kitchen management experience, and hands-on chef experience. Experience in high-volume, complex food service operations, catering, and institutional cooking is highly desirable, along with proficiency in computer applications like Microsoft Office. ServSafe certification is a plus, underscoring the importance of food safety in this role.

Joining CCL Hospitality Group means becoming part of an organization that values mutual success, lasting impressions, and the professional growth of its team members. The benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plans, flexible and holiday time off, wellness programs, and more.
