Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment
- minimum 5 years experience as Executive Chef in high volume culinary environments
- strong leadership and team management skills
- proven experience with menu innovation and culinary creativity
- ability to work collaboratively across departments
- financial acumen related to budgeting and cost management
- ability to maintain high standards under pressure and high-volume operations
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience as Executive Chef in high volume concepts with budgets of 6 million dollars or more
- experience working in fast-paced, high volume culinary environments such as upscale restaurants, hotels, or catering operations
- proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining food quality and consistency
- experience creating and executing large private event custom menus for 500 to 1,500 person events
- expertise in designing tasting menus, special event menus, and catering offerings to meet diverse needs
- strong financial knowledge for menu costing, inventory management, and cost control
- excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
- passion for culinary innovation and creative menu development
Job Duties
- Lead and motivate culinary teams to achieve excellence in food quality, presentation, and service standards
- recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff while fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
- set team performance goals aligned with company vision
- collaborate effectively with front-of-house teams, event and sales teams, vendors, and senior management
- ensure consistency and drive culinary innovation with venue culinary leaders
- maintain culinary operations adhering to Cosm's Pillars of Service including food sourcing and fan interactions
- develop and execute diverse and seasonally adaptive menus with a strong creative flair
