We are currently seeking an accomplished Executive Chef to lead our culinary operations in a high-energy, 365-day live-events venue designed to seat up to 1,500 guests, including days with multiple back-to-back events. The role demands an individual with a strong leadership presence, creativity in menu development, and proven experience managing high-volume kitchen environments. The Executive Chef will be responsible for inspiring and mentoring a talented culinary team referred to as “Cosmnauts,” while ensuring exceptional dining experiences for all our guests, affectionately called “Fans.”
This leadership role requires an adept ability to oversee all aspects of culinary operations, from sourcing high-quality ingredients to delivering memorable food presentations aligned with Cosm’s Pillars of Service – connected, optimistic, service-oriented, and memorable. The ideal candidate demonstrates financial acumen through menu costing, inventory oversight, and cost control, balancing profitability with uncompromised quality. Collaboration is key, as the position necessitates working closely with venue culinary leaders, front-of-house teams, event and sales departments, vendors, and senior management to maintain consistency and innovate continuously.
The Executive Chef will harness creativity and operational efficiency to produce diverse, seasonal, and regionally inspired menus that resonate with the Atlanta market and adapt to varying dietary preferences and culinary trends. Additionally, this role involves the development of creative culinary concepts and signature dishes, managing up to 25 menu items, and ensuring operational excellence during high-pressure, high-volume events.

Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment
- minimum 5 years experience as Executive Chef in high volume culinary environments
- strong leadership and team management skills
- proven experience with menu innovation and culinary creativity
- ability to work collaboratively across departments
- financial acumen related to budgeting and cost management
- ability to maintain high standards under pressure and high-volume operations
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience as Executive Chef in high volume concepts with budgets of 6 million dollars or more
- experience working in fast-paced, high volume culinary environments such as upscale restaurants, hotels, or catering operations
- proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining food quality and consistency
- experience creating and executing large private event custom menus for 500 to 1,500 person events
- expertise in designing tasting menus, special event menus, and catering offerings to meet diverse needs
- strong financial knowledge for menu costing, inventory management, and cost control
- excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
- passion for culinary innovation and creative menu development
Job Duties
