The Executive Chef role at Wind Crest by Erickson Senior Living is a dynamic, leadership-driven position offering the opportunity to bring culinary passion and innovation to a vibrant community. This full-time role offers compensation ranging from $80,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with eligibility for an annual bonus. The successful candidate will join a team of award-winning chefs and dining leaders to elevate Wind Crest’s Signature Dining Programs. The Executive Chef will champion from-scratch cooking and deliver chef-inspired menus that balance creativity with high standards of execution. This role requires a hospitality-driven leader with proven success in food purchasing, preparation, and presentation, ensuring all food offerings exceed quality standards.
The Executive Chef will supervise all kitchen staff, oversee back-of-house systems, core menus, and recipe management, while maintaining kitchen and equipment sanitation through regular internal audits. Compliance with all federal and state food safety regulations, including Health Department and HACCP guidelines, is vital. The Executive Chef will collaborate closely with the General Manager to solve food production or presentation challenges, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years Executive Chef experience
- Knowledge of ala carte and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls and food presentation
- Good knowledge of PC software and POS systems (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
- Fine dining experience a plus

Job Duties
- Ensure efficient and high-quality food purchasing, preparation, and presentation within budget
- Supervise all kitchen staff and oversee BOH systems, core menus, and recipe management
- Maintain kitchen and equipment sanitation
- conduct monthly internal sanitation audits
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state food safety regulations (Health Dept./HAACP)
- Partner with General Manager to address and resolve food production or presentation issues
- Maintain high standards for food quality and plate presentation
