The Sheraton belongs to HEI Hotels and Resorts, a renowned hospitality company recognized for its dedication to associate wellness, comprehensive benefits, and career development opportunities, including hotel discounts, wellness initiatives, tuition reimbursement, and employee assistance programs.
The Executive Chef role at the Sheraton Pentagon City represents a unique leadership opportunity within this dynamic hotel environment. As the hotel prepares for a major renovation scheduled for August 2026, the Executive Chef will serve as a strategic culinary leader, overseeing all aspects of the hotel's food and beverage operations with a focus on innovation and excellence. This position is integral to shaping a refreshed and world-class dining experience that aligns with the upcoming transformation of the property. The Executive Chef will lead menu redevelopment efforts, influence concept evolution, and design efficient kitchen workflows that complement the new spaces and reflect the prestigious Sheraton brand promise. This role requires a deep understanding of culinary trends and hospitality standards, where creativity and operational efficiency intersect to create memorable guest experiences. The Executive Chef will champion a dynamic culinary vision by designing seasonal menus, emphasizing flavor, presentation, and storytelling that captivates guests while maintaining profitability and high-end service quality across all outlets including the restaurant, lounge, banquet, and catering operations. The position demands leadership qualities that inspire kitchen staff and foster professional growth, alongside effective communication skills to engage with various stakeholders. This role offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $110,000 and comes without tip or service charge eligibility, nor discretionary performance bonuses. It is ideal for culinary professionals with significant experience in hotel food and beverage management who are passionate about innovation, quality, and the guest experience.
